About Scout
Meet Scout! - The loveable "horse-dog" who loves a good run around and out runs most of the other dogs at the dog park.
She is well socialised, however does not tolerate other dog's attitudes so her ideal home would be patient and allow for a controllable environment where Scout can be eased into doggo introductions.
She's learning to retrieve a ball but prefers the chasing part. She's been trained to walk nicely on a lead but can be very stubborn if she sees something she wants so, again, patience is important. Scout's current home has a cat who she would like to be friends with but unfortunately, the feeling isn't mutual. She is also currently working on interactions with human babies.
Scout would benefit from more space to run around and expend energy. When she has enough interaction & exercise she's a dream to manage. When she spends the day outside by herself she'll find ways to entertain herself which does result in her own version of "landscaping".
She is obedience and crate trained but, again, can be stubborn. She loves a good cuddle and sleep on the couch and pretty much just wants to follow you around all day.
Scout is a big softy who would make any dog-lover very happy, in return for affection and a big yard to do zoomies in, of course! She may even benefit from having another dog friend but slow and steady introductions would be key!
