About Big Al (Alfie)
I know, I know, the photo is terrible. Surely our followers are used to that by now?! Haha
Anyway, this big boy is Al.
Big Al. We have affectionately been calling him Alfie for a little while. And the kids call him Bolt. His name might be "confused" after all this!!
He is a stunning red brindle and was born 19th October 2017.
Big Al is only new here and although he did chase the chicken once, that was only because the rooster came over causing a scene and made everyone run, therefore Big Al chased. He was not fixated on the chooks (or the cats either) though and we think eventually he will be fine with them completely. He was with the chooks in the yard by himself (with a muzzle on) for about 20 mins, incident-free.
He is an extremely happy, excitable boy. Tail wags constantly. He is very affectionate. He is also very big and strong.
He walks well on a lead and is not house trained as yet.
Fine with all other dogs, he seems to sleep the day away if you have no time for him. He does not have separation anxieties and he doesn't bark at every little thing.
He has dug a few sparrow holes to be cool and sleep in around the yard, so maybe not a good match if you have prize winning gardens, though, he would keep the dirt fresh and turned for you 🤷♀️
Gosh, somebody adopt him please - otherwise he could be staying. 🤣🤣
Adoption fee $495..
He will be desexed, chipped, vaccinated, had a dental and worming/flea treatment up to date.
Located Jimboomba for meet and greets.
Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% (of the adoption price) administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Jimboomba on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane, although some animals can be in care throughout the greater Brisbane region.
