Scout is a smiley girl who was very friendly and sweet when assessed by our volunteers.
She is a blank slate when it comes to training, so will be a perfect match for a carer who will help her learn the basics and provide structure and boundaries.
When she was tested with other dogs, Scout was overexcited at first, but did calm down a bit and start playing after a while. She may suit a home with male doggy pal after a slow, calm introduction. Not yet kid/cat tested.
Scout is looking for a foster home, and can be fostered with the intent to adopt. Email DFLrescue@gmail.com today to apply!
Adoption details
ADOPTION:
1. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com to contact our Adoption Team & we will send you an expression of interest form to return
2. Successful applicants will then have a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer, along with a volunteer home visit & fence check, before beginning a trial period with the dog to ensure a great match for all involved.
DFL dogs are vaccinated, micro chipped & desexed prior to adoption (or at 6 months as a condition of adoption).
FOSTER:
If a dog is listed as "Foster Carer Needed", they are looking for a temporary home in Perth metro while their vet work is completed and while they wait for their forever home. They may also be fostered with the view to adoption. Please email us for more information.

2. Foster care applicants will then have a volunteer home visit & fence check, and a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer/rescue representative, before commencing foster care.
