Bluey is fun, energetic, and playful. He is only a young pup, but growing big fast!
Bluey loves playing in water. Turn on the sprinkler and stand back while he tears about and wears himself out. In his downtime, he loves hanging out and watching you play PS4.
He's looking for an active carer who'll provide lots of play time and age-appropriate exercise. Mental stimulation is a must, to keep his active brain out of mischief. He has already learned to sit, wait, and shake both paws. He is excellent on the lead for his twice daily walks, and sits before crossing the road.
Bluey has manners to learn, so you must be committed to his ongoing training. He gets carried away with jumping and biting, so it is important that you are an experienced dog owner who will provide structure and boundaries right from the start.
Bluey is friendly with other dogs and would love having another dog to play with and learn from. He hasn't met cats and is not suited to kids at this stage.

ADOPTION:
1. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com to contact our Adoption Team & we will send you an expression of interest form to return
2. Successful applicants will then have a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer, along with a volunteer home visit & fence check, before beginning a trial period with the dog to ensure a great match for all involved.
DFL dogs are vaccinated, micro chipped & desexed prior to adoption (or at 6 months as a condition of adoption).
FOSTER:
If a dog is listed as "Foster Carer Needed", they are looking for a temporary home in Perth metro while their vet work is completed and while they wait for their forever home. They may also be fostered with the view to adoption. Please email us for more information.

2. Foster care applicants will then have a volunteer home visit & fence check, and a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer/rescue representative, before commencing foster care.
