About Jack Jack
INDOORS ONLY
Jack Jack arrived into care at 8 weeks old. He was rescued by some incredibly kind hearted long term supporters of ours and brought straight to Rescue Me Whiskers & Paws. He was being attacked by a larger cat and had a terrible old injury to his right front paw, which left the bones in his foot exposed. He was also covered in dirt and had severe flea and worm infestations. He was immediately rushed to our vet at Elizabeth Park Vets where he had his wound thoroughly cleaned and was given injections of antibiotics and pain relief. His wound was necrotic and right back to the bones. They believe it was some kind of dog bite. He had it bandaged for a couple of days and then he had surgery to amputate one of his toes. He was unable to be desexed at the time because he had horrible deep bruising around his back end. Most likely from when he was grabbed by a dog. This poor little guy would have been in intense pain, but despite all that he remained a super smoochy, affectionate and playful little guy. For 2 weeks he had vet visits nearly everyday to clean the wound and re bandage it. Always being extremely well behaved, purring and licking us while it was done. He has now finished his antibiotics and pain relief and had his vetwork completed this week. So is able to go to his forever home. This boy LOVES ATTENTION & TO PLAY! He will call out to you and loves doing zoomies around the house. He is a bundle of energy and nothing stands in his way. He has a huge zest for life with an amazing personality! Full of cuddles and smooches. He loves to chase ping pong balls and cat teasers. He has been around other cats, dogs and big and little humans. He loves them all 🙂
Medical notes
AMPUTATED MIDDLE TOE RIGHT FRONT PAW. DOES NOT CAUSE HIM ANY ISSUES.
