Little Penelope arrived into our care with her mum, grandma, and siblings after being sprung from a northern pound. She has blossomed into the most gorgeous and friendly girl, and is now ready to start looking for her forever family. Penelope has gotten her gorgeous loving personality and beautiful colouring from her equally as adorable grandmother "Esther".
Penelope is a smoochy girl who loves the company of both humans, cats, and dogs. She is happy to have a snooze and a snuggle, but also enjoys chasing her foster friends around and playing with her toys. She would suit a home who is looking for a well socialised and happy little girl, who is also independent and smoochy.
Penelope's new home must have another young and friendly cat at home for her to closely bond with, as she spends lots of her day seeking company and cuddles from her foster friends. Only cat homes, and homes with older cats only will not be considered. A joint adoption with her sister Rabbit is available for anyone who doesn't already have a cat and would like to welcome our girls to their home. Penelope's new home could have both dogs and children as she is a gentle and social girl.
Adoption details
If you would like to know more information about any of our rescue animals, our rescue group, or to arrange a meet and greet, please email us. Please provide us with your name, email address, contact number, and some information about yourself, and the home you have to offer one of our rescue animals.
Please understand that Gary and the Handicats is run by a Vet Nurse who works 2 jobs and also cares for sick and high needs rescue animals. We strive to get back to you within 24 hours, but during busy kitten seasons their may be a delay. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please note we do not run on a "first in first served" basis. We screen applicants well before proceeding with adoption. Vet and rental references may be required for certain special needs adoptions.
We receive a large amount of interest in our handraised kittens, and certain special needs animals. Please understand that if you're application isn't successful, this may just be due to the amount of applications we have had for that particular animal, and not because of the home you have to offer. Preference is always given to our past adopters.
