About Rocky DL2574
Rocky is a very sweet boy who loves nothing more than to curl up on the couch with you.
Rocky loves his toys, and will happily fetch a ball all afternoon. He likes to be with you everywhere at home, and will follow you around the house. He tends to forget how big he is and will want to sit on your lap!
Rocky’s still learning basic cues, but picks up new tricks fairly quickly. He loves to be active and go for walks, but he does need an experienced dog owner who is physically strong to work with him on walking on the lead. He's been learning to meet new people and will give them a quick sniff before asking for pats and attention. He pulls on the lead around other dogs so will need more training and socialisation.
Rocky is a big love bug! Once you have Rocky's trust, all he wants is love and affection; you'll have a friend for life. He is best suited to a home without kids or other pets, where he will have all the love and pats to himself. He copes well with being alone while you’re at work, but will give you lots of hugs and kisses when you get home.

Adoption details
ADOPTION:
1. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com to contact our Adoption Team & we will send you an expression of interest form to return
2. Successful applicants will then have a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer, along with a volunteer home visit & fence check, before beginning a trial period with the dog to ensure a great match for all involved.
DFL dogs are vaccinated, micro chipped & desexed prior to adoption (or at 6 months as a condition of adoption).
FOSTER:
If a dog is listed as "Foster Carer Needed", they are looking for a temporary home in Perth metro while their vet work is completed and while they wait for their forever home. They may also be fostered with the view to adoption. Please email us for more information.

2. Foster care applicants will then have a volunteer home visit & fence check, and a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer/rescue representative, before commencing foster care.
