About Karma
Hello to my new best friend - we haven’t met yet but I’ve been working hard to be the best me I can be for when I meet you.
I came into foster care as a pretty rambunctious, over-the-top, excitable ball of energy. With love, patience, structure and routine I've come such a long way!
I'll definitely require a bit more work with my new family - obedience school, enrichment toys, training sessions and long walks are all things I recommend we do together so I continue to learn.
After the day's activities are done, I love snuggles and chill time!
I was a bit of an escape artist in my last home as my family were not home a lot and I got really bored being left alone with nothing to do.
I also didn't really learn how to walk on a leash properly, as I would just be driven to the dog park a few times a week and let off the leash to run amok!
I was never really corrected for my rude behaviour with other dogs so don't really know what this word "appropriate" means, especially when it comes to little dogs.
So leash work is a big area I need help in. Some might say I've been 'over-socialised' so when I see other dogs and I'm not allowed to greet them I just don't understand why and can get a bit frustrated.
It's best I'm the only dog in the house while we shape my social skills slowly, but a may be suited to a mature large breed dog to help shape my good manners!
I currently share my home with cats! But still require careful supervision, as sometimes I get over-excited (especially if they RUN!)
With me, you'll get back what you put in, so in my forever home with love, routine, patience, snacks and lots and lots of cuddles I promise to be the best friend I can be, for you.
