About Bumper
Bumper came into our care from rural Victoria. He is estimated to be around 3-4 years of age and is only just starting to learn about the world around him - previously, he had not left his backyard so he is still a little timid and unsure of things.
This sweet boy has a lovely kind nature. He would benefit hugely from a family that will put the time into working on his obedience and confidence-building. He does have separation anxiety and gets a bit distressed when left on his own, so a place where someone is home more often than not would be required.
While currently the only pet in his foster home, Bumper has shown he is very good and gentle with cats, and actually appears to quite enjoy their company! He is also good with other dogs but is not particularly social, preferring to do his own thing and avoid interaction so a home without other dogs would be best. He can also get quite nervous when other dogs approach him on a walk, and can sometimes get reactive towards bigger dogs he's uncomfortable with.
He will be a shy guy initially but with consistency, training, love and TREATS we have no doubt he will flourish into a confident and well-rounded pooch!
