About Rambo
Little Rambo is ready to find his Happy Forever After. ❤
Rambo is 8 years old and we suspect he is a Chihuahua x Pomeranian
Found in a terrible state alone in a hailstorm he was taken to the pound.
His family chose not to collect him so he joined our family and has been nursed back to health by an amazing foster family.
Rambo had a severe flea allergy .. he has had regular medicated baths along with vet treatments and his skin and coat are doing well.
He does have a limp but X rays have concluded it is knee related and no surgery is needed or recommended at this time.
His forever family should be prepared that this may worsen as the years pass.
After an anxious and nervous start, he has turned out to be the most adorable, sweet and gentle little man.
We are ideally looking for a calm and quiet home where he has company most of the time – active retiree’s would be just perfect.
He gets on great with other little dogs so a furry sibling would be welcomed ( but not essential)
Rambo is great on the lead and loves his walks – he is a superfan of the beach and just loves to be adventuring with his people.
He must be allowed to be an inside dog with access to the yard .. he can use a doggy door and loves investigating the garden.
He will need secure 4 foot fencing as he seems to have been a bit of a wanderer previously.
Rambo does have some storm phobia so will need to be kept safe and secure in storm season.
He loves any food but chicken is his favourite .. big juicy bones are a close 2nd.
He is not cat tested.

It is really important that you tell us as much as you can about yourself and the life you can offer him – we will only be selecting a couple of applications for meets so don’t be afraid to sell yourself.

Our Rescue is managed by volunteers.
Rambo is in foster care on Bribie Island and his adoption fee is $395.
He has been desexed, vaccinated to date, microchipped and is up to date with his flea and worm treatments.

Adoption details
The adoption fee includes desexing, microchipping, first vaccination, worming and flea treatment, current at time of adoption.
Our cats are to be indoor only, we figure this is a big step towards keeping them out of the pound!
Our dogs are to be inside/outside dogs, allowed to be inside at night and in poor weather conditions, included in the family, not left in the yard.
Adoption process includes a meet and greet followed by a home visit ( in your home) by one of our team. Photo ID will also be required upon application.
