About Calhoun Mchissy
FOSTER CARER NEEDED! Calhoun McHissy is looking for a foster carer, can you help? If yes, please send us a message via pet rescue now!
CPOM DOES MELBOURNE AND BEYOND ADOPTIONS!
You don't need to leave your home to adopt from us, we do our meet & greets online and bring the cat/kitten to you! How good is that?
Saved from a hoarder situation, Calhoun McHissy came into care with his sisters Caitrin and Nairne. Calhoun was very hesitant about people at first, but has gotten over his anxiety and is now quite the loving boy. His favourite things are food, food, food, pats, food, his sister Caitrin (they are very close) and oh did we say food? Calhoun is still growing and we believe he's going to grow into his head and paws (which are huge!). With the classic tabby tiger markings, liquorice lips and green eyes, Calhoun is a magnificent specimen of cathood. He and his sister Caitrin can usually be found chasing spiders, bugs, balls and that darned laser dot!
He's one big loving tabby tiger who with a bit of patience and time (and food!) will turn into your best friend and love you forever. We would love Calhoun to be adopted with one of his sisters or to a home with a cat-friendly cat. Are you cut out to be a tiger tamer? Yes? Send an enquiry about Calhoun now!
Calhoun is a healthy raw fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010004915649, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now! His adoption fee also includes his second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.
------------------------------------------------------
To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
