About Rummy ~ 15mo Dalmatian (On Trial 23/12/20)
Rummy is a sweet, kind natured 15 month old female Dalmatian. Rummy absolutely adores her people, she is full of love and affection and loves to be included in almost every activity with the family! Whether this be playing with her toys, going for walks, laying in her bed (or giving you cuddles) while watching some telly, going for drives, or even just being in your company as you do the yard/house work! She just loves being in the presence of her humans.
Being a dalmatian, rummy requires lots of exercise and play (for example, 2 walks a day, or a walk and some fetch in the backyard). She can become bored if left alone through out the day, and may get up to some mischief such as digging in the garden beds or jumping over fences! So filling up her kongs with some yummy treats, and providing toys for rummy to play with will happily keep her occupied.
Rummy knows the basics such as sit, shake and wait, because of her younger age she can become quite excited and likes to jump up to greet her humans! Rummy will benefit from ongoing training!
Rummy can be aggressive with other dogs, and she will be suited for a home with no other animals. Rummy may improve with more socialization training with other dogs (on leash, professional training). Rummy will also need a secure backyard, with at least 5 foot fencing as she has jumped a smaller fence before!
Rummy lives outside during the day, and sleeps inside on her soft cosy bed with a soft toy of a night time. She is toilet trained, but taking her out to the toilet before bed time will help to avoid any accidents! We are unsure what Rummy is like with children. Rummy would be suitable for a home with no other pets, with owners who can give her lots of love, time and attention. I can promise you, this sweet girl will give it back tenfold!!
