SwishSwish was surrendered to Cat People of Melbourne by his owners as they were unable to care for him any more. This handsome teenage boy got his name from his super floofy tail that... you guessed it... he swishes around as he sashays around the house. SwishSwish is a sweet boy who just loves you, loves other cats, loves everything.
SwishSwish loves the brush, both on his fur and as a toy. He loves to be petted when he's not playing or sleeping. SwishSwish will also follow you around to see what you're doing and comment on it, when you are being boring he'll go and watch birdies through the window.
Swoosh would love a family who is at home more often then not, So if you have kids, swoosh would be more then happy to play together an chase ping pong balls, laser dots and other fun things... his idea of a good time is chase toys and slide around after toys and balls, or just running around the house at full speed.

SwishSwish is a healthy raw fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #xxxxxxxx, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now! His adoption fee also includes his second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.

To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
