About Busta
Oh World – Are you ready for this news ?
After two unsuccessful adoptions and through no fault of his own, Little Busta is back in care and hunting for his Christmas Miracle. 😞
This amazing little boy was inundated with applications previously and we are just gutted that we got things wrong.
Busta does get stressed if left alone and we were very clear that future owners could accommodate this.
Adoption 1 involved being left alone for long periods despite this and resulted in some unacceptable destruction of outdoor cushions etc.
Please note .. we have not witnessed this behaviour at all since his return from his first adopter.
Adoption 2 was perfect but sadly the resident dog just does not like Busta and things have really reached the point of no return.
Busta and his family have really tried but his lovely owners know that having him afraid and hiding is not the life he deserves and we do thank them for that.
So we go again .. and this time it will be perfect – we promise 🙏
This little man’s smile and total love of life could light up even the greyest of days.
Our very special little ray of sunshine “Busta”
Busta is a very big personality on very short legs.
He is a cheeky, loving little goofball with more energy than his size suggests.
Those legs have no issues keeping up with his foster momma on runs and walks… he is a strong little nugget and does still pull a little with excitement.
We do believe from his behaviour that he may have been part of a busy family – he stops and quietly tilts his head when he hears children playing outside and he loved the business of his second family.
He loves “busy”, he loves company and he likes other dogs very much – not so much cats (nope no kitty cats Please and Thank You).
He is submissive but a whirlwind in play and this may just be too much all day for some dogs.
Others will love it 😃
Due to his last experience we would love him to experience the joy of being an only dog .. so he can decompress and just be loved bit for the right family this is not essential ❤️
He adores to investigate the garden and is happy to potter around with his humans.
His breed is a wonderful mix of the unknown .. but we would guess his legs are maybe from corgi or Bassett hound topped off with some English Staffy – like a little jigsaw of gorgeousness.
He may be very short but he is a stocky little boy and does weigh approx. 20kg so would be classed as a medium not a small dog.
We are sure with love, patience and time it will settle but ideally a home where someone home a lot would be a dream come true.
Busta is approximately 2 and a half years old, he has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and is up to date with his flea and worm treatment.
Busta’s adoption fee is $450 and he is in Foster Care at Darra.
If you would like to meet him, please send us a message with LOTS of info about yourself and the lifestyle you can offer Busta.
Due to COVID we are restricting the number of meet and greets so will need to choose best matches from the info provided so please give as much as you can.
We do expect a lot of interest in Busta and we are all volunteers so only those successful for a meet will be contacted.
Thank You for Understanding ❤
