About Ginger
PLEASE NOTE THAT UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE UNABLE TO FLY OUR ANIMALS EITHER WITHIN WA OR INTERSTATE
NAME: Ginger
BEFORE SAFE ESPERANCE: Came to SAFE Esperance from the pound.
ASSETS: Loads of character, smoochy but independent. He's affectionate on his own terms and responds well to attention from his human.
FAVOURITE THINGS: He loves to play with ping pong balls and is happy to play whenever he can!
OTHER INFO: Ginger has FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) and would be fine living with another FIV+ cat. FIV is not as scary as it sounds. It just means that his vaccinations will need to kept up to date and will need good quality food and regular health checks. He will need to be an inside cat or have access to a secure outside cat run. As long as he's well looked after he should live a long and happy life. Ginger is litter trained and very clean. He is flea-treated wormed, microchipped and desexed.
OTHER ANIMALS: Ginger is sharing his space with another foster, Carlos, who is also FIV+ and they get on well so he could live with another cat if introduced slowly and with care. He would also be fine living with a cat-friendly dog after gentle introduction at his own pace.
IDEAL HOME: Ginger would be suited to most homes that will treat him gently and give him plenty of love. He will need to be kept as an indoor only cat or preferably have access to a secure outdoor run.
If Ginger sounds like the boy for you, please send an enquiry and we'll be in touch soon.
