Dusty is a sweet, happy cherub who likes to be around her humans and be part of the family.
She is gentle with children and comfortable with cats, older dogs and puppies.
-------
Hi, my name is Dusty and I have a little story to tell. I've been adopted once before, however it didn't work out, it wasn't my fault, the older cat just didn't like me.
Currently, I am six weeks post-op for a torn ACL injury that I sustained at home while running and jumping with my cat sister. I most definitely sit with the typical ACL leg stretched out for comfort and my foster family are great as massaging my leg for me to help make it strong again.
My fave things to do are show my humans how much I love them by grooming their hair while they watch a movie, knead their tummies gently before I settle in for a snuggle, sleep at their feet and purr until my heart is contempt.
During the day, I love to find the sunny spots in the house, the office chair is my #1 spot, a basket of clean washing is next and the bed are my snoozing spaces.
At night, I like to zoom around the house checking on everyone for about 30 mins and then, I go find my spot on the bed on someone's leg to final say goodnight.
I am definitely a vocal young lass in the morning, I like to eat first thing and if my humans are on the toilet I like to play zig zag between their legs, I like to test their concentration in the morning.
If you feel I will suit you, your family and your environment and you would like to become my forever family, please reach out :D

Like a lot of animals, cats can take time to adjust to new people and environments no matter how friendly and loving they really are. We ask you to keep this in mind when meeting cats at meet ‘n’ greets and not rule them out straight away just because they are not all over you at the first meeting. You could miss out on the most wonderful companion. 💖
Medical notes
ACL injury that has been operated on and healed well.
Adoption details
We ask that before you apply for one of our animals, you take the time to think through all aspects of having a pet in your home to ensure it is the right thing for both your family and the animal, now and in the future. Please consider how you would approach changes in your home that may affect your pet and how dedicated you would be to keeping/helping your animal when faced with any issues that may arise in the future.
If you have done this and are interested in one of our animals, please fill in our adoption enquiry form - www.cognitoforms.com/LostAndFoundPetsIllawarra1/LostAndFoundPetsIllawarraIncAnimalEnquiry
Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in to see if it is the right match.
Before adoption, all of our animals are health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flea/worm treated and heart worm tested (where appropriate).
