Sari is a medium sized dog that believes she is a lap dog. Sari is looking for a home that will provide her with endless pats and comfy napping spots indoors and outdoors.
Sari is an independent pup who is quite happy working on her tan in the backyard while you go about your day. She loves her cuddles and will try every trick in the book to try and sit in your lap, she’s a bit cute like that. Her tongue and tail should be registered as lethal weapons!
Sari loves having access to the yard, she will split her busy schedule of napping with sitting inside on the back step to catch the breeze, a roll around on the grass in the sun and a nap on the floor by your desk when the mood takes her. Sari will need access to an outdoor area that is hers as she doesn't like to toilet in public places such as parks/while walking.
Sari is a very well mannered, house trained young lady, except when she is super excited about playing tug of war then she might get a bit jumpy but we are working on it. She can sit, drop, attempts to stay but tends to fail as she is very nosy and wants to see where you’re going. If you have time, Sari is eager to learn. She does have a shorter attention span so short bursts of training per day would suit her best.
Sari has not been tested with children, however, her nature is very gentle and patient except while playing with a ball or tug of war.
Sari is playful around other dogs and will need slow, controlled introductions as she is still learning how to play with other dogs.
Sari will need ongoing attention while walking; she loves to walk and sniff but is not good at staying by your side. She is well behaved on the leash and will generally only pull for the first little minute of the walk then she settles right in.
If Sari sounds like your new best friend please apply using the link. This gorgeous girl can’t wait to meet you!
