About Norma Jean
The loving and sweetest girl is now seeking her forever home ( again)
Norma Jean came to us a while ago now and she was a mess
She was a puppy breeder, covered in cancer lumps skin infections and you pretty much name it she had it !
After many months of surgery and care Normas cancer was clever margins. her skin cleared up and we started the search for her forever home.
We found a wonderful home that we thought she would live the rest of her life in on a large property enjoying her new wonderful life.
Sadly Norma decided to start chasing Kangaroos and it became very dangerous for her to stay there any longer so she came back to us a few weeks ago and now we start the search for her new home again
Where do I start with this beautiful girl??? Norma Jean is a beautiful, placid lady. She has a lovely temperament. I have found her to be super friendly and loves a pat. I have had both adults and children over for a visit and Norma has been most welcoming. She'll happily follow me around the yard whilst gardening and sit and watch while I'm exercising in the garage. She's not much of a ball chaser and not a real fan of any toys, however, you could sit and pat her for ages and she would be quite content.
Norma just absolutely loves her walks. If I even go near the lead, Norma is locked, loaded and ready for a walk. You'll need a strong arm as you first start walking her due to her excitement. After about 10-15 minutes, she tends to slow down a little. She gets extremely excited when she sees other furry friends. She's never barked or seemed to get aggressive around other dogs - she just wants to get close to say hello. She stops quite frequently on our walks (to leave her mark), however, maintains an excellent pace.
Norma loves to explore, so a large yard would best suit this gorgeous girl. Laundry on the line and your garden are also safe with this lady. She's also not a bird chaser as many come into the yard to try and steal her food. She's quite scared of approaching storms and tends to hide away until it's all over. She's also not a fan of the vacuum cleaner and will often bark (tail wagging) when she hears it.
There are not enough adjectives to describe this beautiful girl. She's been a pleasure to have.
Norma is to be an only dog home as she is very selective about which dogs she likes and which she does not !
She is fine to be left at home alone and she absolutely loves kids of all sizes
She is house trained and is not destructive at all in the home
