About Bandit
Hello my name is Bandit
I am a beautiful, sweet boy who enjoys the quiet life. I came into care very scared and timid - and my foster family has allowed me to settle and blossom and learn these amazing things called cuddles.
I am a timid boy and as such I will take some time to settle in so please bare that in mind if applying for me.
It will take me some time before I am ready to come up to you and give you some cuddles - but when I am settled and ready - watch out as I will become a cuddle bug.
I am very happy to stay at home - not a huge fan of crowds or parks or beaches - I am wanting a quiet life with my humans, however if you want to take me on a car ride I'm in - it could be cause i'm with my humans.
I am good with the skin kids that live here - now I have my confidence i have worked out i can go from bed to bed for snuggles but I think it would be better to be with kids over 8 years of age as that way they can give me space when I'm nervous.
I am good with cats - but won't lie if they run - I will chase.
I really want a home with another dog, so when the humans aren't home I have someone to snuggle with.
My ideal home would be with someone who is home more often then not so I can snuggle and do Netflix marathons with.
I would really like a home where I can settle, and be with someone who will love me and spoil me and leave me wanting for nothing.

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
