About Sasha
Hi, my name is Sasha
I am a 6 month old Australian Cattle Dog.
My foster mum describes me as a gorgeous young girl who has come along with her manners since coming to her - Sasha is a typical pup who is still needing on going guidance but she is keen to learn and is a quick study.
I am still a baby and I have big bouts of energy so the rescue believes that I should be in a home with another dog - one that would like to play at times, and then snooze.
I would be awesome best friend for someone if they were looking for one.
My foster family has a dog similar in age to me and my foster mum says we can play and play and play but then when she tells us to be calm - we do!!
My foster mum says I am awesome on the lead and a joy to be a walking companion with - she does say I very much like my social outings of walking as people smile and say hi to me - and that makes me pretty happy - I mean like helloooo it makes me the center of attention.
I do like to snuggle up at night with my fur siblings – I am happy sleeping outside with them – and would be happy to continue to do that if there was another dog.
My foster mum calls me a water baby – I loooove to play in the water – sprinkler or tap – I’m not fussed!
I enjoy being inside with my humans but also like being outside with them while the kids play – as I’m still a pup and learning manners I do jump up on the kids and nip at their ankles – my foster mum is teaching me that this is not okay – hopefully you will still want me and understand that I am learning – I promise!
I would love a family who have the time to spend with me, let me blossom and I promise I will be worth it!

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
