About Hayley ~ 10 week old kitten (On Trial 23/12/20)
PLEASE NOTE: Hayley is only available to a home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast area only as she will have to be desexed at one of our local vets by the time she is 4 months old.
Hayley and her brother Sean were found under a house after their mum & siblings a few months older than them had already been desexed. The vet had a funny feeling after examining the mumma cat and said to have another look under the house. Sure enough- another litter of kittens around 4 weeks old!
Despite their young age it still took some time to catch these kids as they had never met a human before and they we cause and came into care around 6 weeks old.
They are both coming along really well and understand that humans mean food and chin scratches but they will still require more human socialisation.
Hayley is a beautiful tortoiseshell girl and is the strong silent type, very confident within herself. She loves having a play with Sean but likes her quite time & exploring things when Sean has tired himself out. She is such a little old soul and will sit in your lap and have a cuddle even though she is still unsure.
They have been living in a house with other cats and a small dog and aren't too bothered by them but we think they should go to a quiet household, preferably separate from each other so they can learn to rely more on humans rather than each other. They or both litter trained and have great appetites!
Hayley is available to a strictly indoor home in the Newcastle/Port Stephens/Hunter/Central Coast Area. She will need to return to a DRN vet before she is four months old to be desexed (a procedure that is covered by her adoption fee).
Hayley’s adoption fee is $280. This covers her flea and worming treatment, microchipping and first kitten vaccination prior to adoption, as well his desexing procedure in the future.
Hayley is in foster care with her brother in Largs, just outside of Newcastle. If you’re interested in adopting Hayley, please fill out our cat adoption form: https://form.jotform.co/93127959159875
