I'm Bosley and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

AVAILABLE FOR A $100 DEPOSIT TO HOLD UNTIL DESEXED

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• Rides in the car
• To be allowed inside with my family
• NO cats, I may chase them
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• No young children as I'm a very timid boy so small children may accidently scare me. Older children who understand I can be very shy may be ok
• I can be shy at first so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
• I can be dominant around other dogs and will bark & maybe growl at them, so I need to be an only dog for now but I'd love a family who'll spend time socialising me with other dogs so I can learn how to be friends with other dogs.
• SOCIALISATION. Due to my timid nature I really need a family who'll take me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman et) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will ensure I become a social and well adjusted dog.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Other dogs
• Small children as they may scare me
• Any other animals as I like to have my family all to myself

My best features:
• LOVE people, once I get to know you
• Highly food motivated
• I walk well on lead
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans, once I'm comfortable with you

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I am shy and skittish at first with new people and in new environments so will require a family who will take their time allowing me to settle in and continue on with my socialisation
• I can be dominant with other dogs - further socialisation with other friendly dogs is needed

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET BOSLEY BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
