About Holt
Hi! My name is Holt!
I'm a 11 week old labrador x doberman puppy looking for my forever home. I'm currently in care with my brother, Baxter, who is also up for adoption. Baxter and I look pretty similar, but I have white on my chin and chest whereas he is completely black. We also live with another doggy and a kitty. The doggy and I love to play and snuggle, but I'm still a little bit unsure about the kitty. I do have a tendency to bark at her so a slow introduction will be necessary if my forever family has a kitty.
Because I'm a baby, I have lots of energy and can play a bit rough or nibble on things sometimes. At the moment, I sleep in a crate in my foster parents' bedroom. I settle pretty quickly and can make it through the whole night (but I will wake you if I need to poop). My foster mum and dad have been teaching me how to sit, lie down and go to the toilet outside, which I'm getting pretty good at, but I would love to go to a puppy school to keep learning. I'm a very quick learner!
I'm currently 8.3 kgs and I still have ALOT of growing to do. My foster mum and dad say I'm going to be a big boy so my forever family will probably need a decent size yard for me to run around in. I would also love a forever family where I'm welcomed inside because I am a very snuggly boy (particularly before going to bed and when I wake up). Lastly, I would love to have another doggy sibling to hang out with as I love to play and wrestle (no matter what size the other doggy is). I can get a bit boisterous sometimes, particularly when food is around, so my forever family will need to remind me to chill out.
All my vet work is up to date and I'm due to be desexed on the 06.01.2021.
If you think you'd be a good fit for me, let my foster mum and dad know and they'll send you through an application!
Love and licks,
Holt
