About Bear
Hi my name is Bear
I came into care with Paw Prints Canine Rescue when I was young and my foster mum and her furry gang taught me all sorts of things about the world - how to have cuddles, how to play and how to know that food is always going to be available for me each day to eat.
I was adopted but sadly my new mum had some unexpected health issues and it was decided it would be best for me to come back to the rescue so my adopted mum could get better - so I'm on a search for a new family that I can grow up with, love and play with.
I have been with other dogs and everyone says I'm a lovely gentle soul boy who is just wanting to give someone my heart and paw.
I haven't been around cats and I do suspect that it will go either way - I will chase and learn really quickly not too or I will simply ignore them but I'm young and I'm a sponge wanting to learn all the things that would make my new family happy.
I love to play with toys - my favorite is a toy rope at the moment, I love the fact that I am able to sleep inside and hang out with the humans.
I am a border collie x koolie so ideally I'm thinking another dog to play with or someone who loves to hang out and do those human things you do - hiking, camping, jogging stuff that will help me burn some of my energy but then other times I really need that person who wants to do a marathon on the couch - I will be your buddy - probably chewing on a pigs ear next to you!
So if you think I would be a good fit with you please send thru an application
** Please note applications will close Sunday 13th December 2020 at 5.30pm

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
