About Jenna
**Snuggle bug seeks experienced emotional support human**
Have you seen a sweeter snoot? It’s our pleasure to introduce you to Jenna.
Jenna is a 4-year old whippet x greyhound that came to Amazing Greys after being surrendered to a shelter from an awful domestic violence situation. As a result, Jenna has some anxieties and would like a quiet foster (or better yet, forever) home with no resident pets.
Jenna is very reactive to other dogs and needs a confident handler who is willing to continue teaching her the world outside doesn’t need to be an overwhelming place. Jenna is slowly learning how much fun it is to go on a 'sniffari' and her loose leash walking is improving but this will require ongoing time, effort, and patience from her new humans. For this reason, being Jenna's support human might look a little different to "normal" pawrenthood. Rather than daily neighbourhood walks recommended for most pups, Jenna would do best with a few car rides each week to quiet locations where Jenna can sniff and stretch her legs, coupled with daily backyard play and enrichment. We will assist Jenna's new humans with training guidance and support.
Jenna loves to run and play, and will amuse you with endless zoomies if given the chance. A home with a backyard is a must, and a quieter suburb/street is preferable.
Inside the home, Jenna can’t wait to show you what a loving and gentle lady she can be. Although she is going well with alone training and has handled four hours on her own, she would really much prefer to spend her day curled up wherever you are, politely ensuring that her need for cuddles and pats is being sufficiently met.
Jenna has not had much experience with children and can be a bit enthusiastic however she is very friendly and we think she would be happy in a home with kids if they were over 12 years.
If you think you could be the right home for Jenna please contact foster@amazinggreys.com.au (for foster enquiries) or adopt@amazinggreys.com.au (for forever home enquiries).
Before enquiring please consider:

Please no applications from:
