Gimli is a fun and friendly scruffy boy, who will love you, and be all over you for attention. He would be good with someone who can give him lots of pats, lots of affection, and is active, as he’s a very energetic boy. He gets along well with other dogs after he’s been introduced, but will bark a little bit at first.
He loves to chase other dogs, play and would be comfortable with another hairy friend. He sits well for food, although you might have to stand there and encourage him to eat it, as he tends to get distracted. He responds really well to his name, and will come when called... that is unless he’s in the middle of meeting new friends. Gimli will be best suited with someone who can give him lots of love and affection, plenty of exercise, and can do some training with him.
Adoption details
First you need to email and inquire about whatever animal you are looking at to find out more information. If you believe this animal may suit you we will discuss the adoption process and go from there. All our animals are located in Townsville, North Queensland. If you are interstate or not a local the Angel Paws team are more than happy to answer as many questions you have about the animal to ensure they are the right one for you. We are also able to provide more pictures from the animals foster carers to assist you on your decision. The rest of the adoption process all depends on those first steps.
