About Roxy
*roxy is currently trialling her new home* this lovely natured pup spent 6 long weeks in our local pound hoping her owner would claim her but it never happened so sarg stepped in and our promise to roxy is that we’ll find her a wonderful new home where she’ll be wanted forever and ever – could it be your home???
“quiet, friendly, affectionate yet playful and loving” are some of the words our assessors used to describe her. . . . . . . . In fact roxy has so much love to give you can almost feel it coming from the stunning white loveheart on her chest! when she occasionally jumps up on you she does it lightly and when offered a treat takes them gently from your hand. Roxy is a fast learner with treats and by the end of her assessment was sitting on command for them – she really enjoys her food :)
roxy walks well on a lead, either ahead of you or beside and doesn’t pull. She interacts fabulously with other dogs, taking a submissive role with a lab pup and a bull terrier type dog she was sharing her “cell” with at the pound. As roxy is still a pup she will require ongoing obedience training so she continues to have lovely manners. Daily walks, secure fencing and toys to keep her stimulated are also a necessity so she doesn’t get bored. Roxy will also benefit from ongoing socialisation with other dogs. At 22. 2kgs roxy is quite a big girl – we guesstimate she’ll be the size of a large labrador when she finishes growing. Roxy would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time while she’s still young. If you’d like roxy to rock your world then please contact sarg for an application now!
