Finn is unbelievably awesome. He is fun and friendly and easy to have around. He likes other dogs and loves playing and hanging out with people. He likes all people but hasn’t grown up with kids so for this reason , and no other reason, we say big kids only. But I’m sure if you had neighbour kids or grandkids he’d be fine. He does have an issue with his nails, read in the medical section. He will need regular grooming and a special diet. Finn really wouldn’t suit an apartment and we’d really love it if you had breed experience. Please be sure to include a LOT of info in your application. Please mention all the important things in this profile.

Medical notes
Dear Finn suffers from a condition that affects his nails. If he gets run down or stressed or bad diet then his nails will lift away from the skin and become painful. This is very easily managed and you must mention this in your application otherwise we will assume you haven’t read his profile.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
