About Laurel ~ 1 year old female cat (On Trial 31/12/20)
Laurel is a beautiful torbie girl with enormous eyes and an equally big heart. Laurel came into care with her babies after sleeping rough on the streets her whole life and has quickly adapted to life in doors and loves napping, pats, and keeping an eye on the neighborhood from her scratching post. Now that her babies have all been adopted it's her turn to find a warm and loving home!
Laurel was very unsure of people and her home environment when she first came into care and took a little while to learn how to trust her foster carer. After a little patience and alot of treats, Laurel now absolutely LOVES attention and will follow you around anywhere you go to get some pats and snuggle up next to you. She is still a bit wary of strangers, however, but with a little bit of time and patience, she will become your best friend and shadow. Because of her unstable past, Laurel is a bit spooked by loud noises and, because of this, she would best suit a quieter home without young children.
Laurel has been living in a house with 2 other cats and, while she doesn't mind having them around, she's perfectly happy with her own space and with people and could happily go to a home with no other pets. She has not been tested with dogs.
Laurel is available for adoption to an indoor-only home and her adoption fee is $200. To find out more, or to enquire, please email catsandkittensdrn@gmail.com
Laurel is in foster care in Shortland, NSW and is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.
