About Zoe ~ 18mo GSD (On Trial 23/12/2020)
Are you a German Shepherd Lover? Meet Zoe, an 18 month old German Shepherd! She is a lover of her people and no doubt will become a loyal member of the family she is adopted to.
Zoe is outside during the day when her foster parent is at work. She has plenty of toys to keep her stimulated but can still get bored during the day which has led to some self entertaining! Zoe would prefer her human to work less though! She is very excited after not seeing her human during the day or visitors in general and this will lead to her jumping up in excitement. She doesn’t know how big she is sometimes! Zoe would love to be welcomed inside when her foster carer is home. She is house trained and will lay on her rug indoors. Zoe currently sleeps outside on her mat and does have the tendency to howl if she can see her foster carer doing other things but sleep. Zoe would love to be welcomed into your family. For a young dog she is calm, quiet and happy to chill/ relax with her humans.
Zoe enjoys going for a walk and sniffing what the outside world has on offer. She is able to walk gently on lead but is equally happy to run next to you should you pick up the pace. As she is a big girl her new family will need to be confident with large dogs. She loves the water and will have a swim in the pool if allowed, otherwise she is more than happy to be by your side and sunbake while you float around.
Zoe doesn’t seem phased by her neighbours who bark but she tends to hide behind her foster carer when she sees other dogs on walks. She did have a playdate with her Staffy friend the other day and that went extremely well! Zoe is intrigued by cats and has chased them. We are looking for a home without cats and pocket pets.
Zoe’s ideal home would be one where she is able to get continued training from all members of the family - being such a young dog she still has so much to learn. She has been taught to come and when you throw her ball she will come back with it in her mouth and place it in your hand so that you can throw it again for her. She knows how to sit and will wait for dinner to be served!
If you would like to adopt Zoe please submit an application! Jasmine (drn.jasmine@gmail.com) is taking all enquiries/ applications for Zoe and will endeavour to get back to you within 3 business days. Zoe’s foster family is located in Shortland 2307, NSW.
Zoe’s adoption fee is $400 which includes desexing, microchipping and vaccinations. She is up to date on all worming and flea treatments
