About Bud
Hi world, my name is Bud!
I am a working breed mix who is about 4 year old (by my vets best guess!).
I am a friendly, loving boy and I'm keen to find my new best friends! I can be a little wary of strangers at first but once I get to know them, I can't wait to play and cuddle with them!
Since coming in to foster care, I have learnt to be on my best behaviour in the house and I never have any accidents! I sleep by myself in the lounge room at night and am back and forth between the house and garden during the day - my foster dad is very impressed with me because nothing is ever out of place when he gets home.
In my past life I didn't get to do much walking or training - my new favourite thing is my daily walk! My foster Dad says I am a very fast learner. So far, in addition to walking on a lead, I am also learning to sit and stay. As I haven't had much exposure previously, I get a little bit fearful when I see another dog whilst I am on the leash so I hope my new family will help me to overcome this through some further training.
I love to play with toys, I love food and I am eager to please! Fetch is my favourite game and I hope it's yours too so we can play together.
If you are an active single, couple or family (I am great with kids 10+, I haven't met any human puppies smaller than that yet) who is looking for a handsome fellow to be your new partner in crime, I could be your perfect match!
Adoption details
Please do not send an "Enquiry". Please instead follow the below steps:
Step 1: Fill in our application form with as much detail as possible - https://forms.gle/sPnL6QS2ik5A5XUR8
Step 2: If suitable, one of our foster carers will contact you via phone to further discuss the dog you have applied for and assess suitability. The same will also be done for other applicants.
Step 3: A meet and greet will then be organised so that you and the dog can meet.
Step 4: Once the meet and greet has been completed, if our team advises that you may be a suitable candidate you will then be required to submit a detailed written application (a template will be emailed to you) - we will then assess all applications and get back to you with an outcome. We may request a home inspection prior to finalising any application.
Dogs are offered for a trial period in new homes for 21 days before the adoption is confirmed.
No entire dogs will be re-homed under any circumstances.
