Hi! My name is Sheloy and I am probably one of the best boys you will ever have the pleasure of meeting! I may look more distinguished than my 4 years, but don’t let my greying appearance fool you! I still have a lot of energy and life in me.

I absolutely love going to the park, the beach, in the car and on as many adventures as possible. When I am at home, I love napping and prefer to be touching and cuddling you at all times. Even if this is just leaning on you as you prepare (my) meals or clean (for me). I am a prince and therefore I am also entitled to your spot in the bed and am not afraid to kick you out if you are in my place.

My foster parents say I am the cuddliest boy they have ever had, even if I don’t realise how big I am or have any sense of personal space - whatever that is. I LOVE my squeaky toys; they are my favourite! I also enjoy sun bathing in the yard when the weather permits and playing tug-o-war. I am a very smart boy, and when I’m not napping, I like to have fun toys to keep me stimulated so I don’t get bored.

I am a special breed with a very good nose and so I must smell EVERYTHING especially treats. I am quite a strong, chunky boy and I am still learning how to behave on lead properly. I have come a long way though, and I am learning not to pull so hard when we go for walks. Further training on a halti would work wonders and I will work with you if you give me treats in return.

I don’t care much for other canines at the park, however, I will be polite and sniff hello to see what all the fuss is about - unless of course they try to take my ball that is. I would just love my new family to include me in all of their activities! I need 2000% of your love and attention every day!

If someone is home more often than not, that would be the best. A home with kids would be fun, but as I’m a bigger boy, maybe just the older ones as I would probably knock over the small ones.

I would also love a backyard so I can take myself out and explore in the sunshine! If you think you fit this bill and have some room for a big cuddly bear like me in your life, lets meet - but be prepared to fall in love with me!
