About Velma
Velma was found abandoned in a box with her two littermates, at a rest stop in south NSW. We do not know her age - but we estimate that she is approximately 14 weeks as she still retains all of her razor sharp puppy teeth, which she should start losing at around 4 months.
Our best guess for breed is scruffy-looking nerf-herder and it appears they may stay on the smaller side of medium. It's all guesses at this point! What we do know is Velma is a super confident little pup who loves to explore new things. Whilst she's been in care we have been exposing her to many different experiences and she's met all of this socialisation with enthusiasm. If you are looking for a brave tiny dragon with a real spark Velma may be a good match. If you are looking for calm puppy who can chill with your toddlers and cats she will not be well suited.
Velma is crate-trained, she loves training games and we have started the groundwork for recall and staying on place. Her new family will be keen training enthusiast who enjoy puppy training as much as she does! We are looking for a home who will continue to build on her confidence and encourage her natural drive. She's got great toy drive and her new people will get that play is just as essential as food.
Velma will be adopted out on a desex contract to a home that is best suited to her needs.
NOTE: Expressions of interest only taken via the 4Lyfe Rescue adoption application form linked immediately below. Enquiries via the green Pet Rescue "enquire about Velma" button at the very bottom of this listing are not read.
