About Mickey
Border Collie x Kelpie mix
Gorgeous "Mickey" is full of spunk and fun. Mickey loves adventures and exploring and will be your loyal companion. He is a super smart boy and knows lots of commands already, he would love you to teach him lots more. Mickey is great with other animals of all kinds and also a great people lover. As he grows he will be a very energetic boy that needs space to run and explore.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, a
nd we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.

You have a large yard or live on acreage - Mickey won’t be alone more than 5hrs- You will allow Mickey to be part of the family and allow him access to indoors – You WILL enroll him in obedience training- you WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation - You have experience with his breeds or have thoroughly researched them.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer Mickey, will be considered. Please note if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
