About Berg
Meet Berg! A quirky 11-month-old Kelpie x Cattle Dog (and maybe a little whippet) boy. He is a fun and active boy who has loads of character!
Berg gets along well with dogs of all shapes and sizes. He is calm around livestock and has shown good social skills. Berg LOVES chasing a ball and he is learning to enjoy other toys too. He is sure to bring a smile to anyoneâs face with his funny little antics and his super cute âtrotâ
Berg has come a long way since being in care â he has gone from being extremely cautious around people to enjoying their company. He has responded well to gentle, balanced training and has become a more confident and happier dog. Although Berg is not cuddle bug (yet!), he is learning that a nice scratch behind the ear is pretty good! He is house trained, sleeps in his crate quietly all night, travels well and is learning his basic manners.
Berg needs an experienced home who are 110% committed to his ongoing training so that he can continue his journey to reach his full potential. He needs someone who understands the mental and physical stimulation needs of his breed. A home where he will be with his human most of the day and enjoy lots of adventures is essential â a confident dog sibling would be preferable. Most of all he needs a family who will love him and include him in their lives.
If you think you may have the perfect forever home for Berg, please fill out our adoption questionnaire via our website. We will consider interstate adoptions however adopters would have to travel to meet & transport him from the Sydney area.
