Phoenix

Phoenix came into care as a sick wild-born orphan. She had been left fending for herself, without the guidance of her family at a very young age. Phoenix is a fighter, and just like her namesake, Phoenix rose from her struggles to be the bright spirit that she is today.

Phoenix is a gentle soul. Like most wild-born dingoes she is shy and reserved around new people. Her sweet personality shines through once she is comfortable and knows she can trust. Phoenix can sometimes be found quietly following the volunteers that she trusts around the sanctuary. Cautiously curious of their activities. She will happily hand feed from those that she trusts and will accept head scratches. Her new family will have to be willing to build a bond with her, and devote time to her confidence building on a daily basis.

Phoenix is suited to a calm and quiet environment, and she would do best having a canine companion to keep her company and help her grow in the domestic setting.
