About ๐ฑโ๐Leo๐ฑโ๐
5 years ago, we took in a then 11-month-old British shorthair boy with absolutely no idea how to cat! He could play, thatโs for sure, but suitable interaction with other cats, despite his best intentions, always ended in the other party taking their bat and ball and going home, because Leo just ruined the fun! In the end, we concluded that a single cat home would be best for him and he was adopted to such a home.
A few months ago, Leo returned to our care, when his adoptive familyโs situation changed and they could no longer care for him. Unfortunately, Leoโs condition wasnโt great upon his return and since then heโs undergone multiple treatments for ear infections and has had a full clip, to start fresh with a new coat. Leo is now once again looking for his perfect forever home and despite being more mature now, he is still utterly socially awkward with other cats and is looking for a home where he is the only feline resident.
In true British style, Leo prefers to be in control of interactions and will let you know when and how much of his attention you can have. After all, you work for him, not the other way around! ๐
Leo is happy to come curl up at the end of the bed, or even right on top of you while the TV is on, or if thereโs nothing to watch, Leo enjoys someone to play with his toys with him. He is happy to come spend the night in bed with you, otherwise he is fine to sleep in his own bed.
Leo is incredibly neat with his tray, and diligently uses his scratching post. You might find him eyeing off the sink though, as he enjoys a drink straight from the tap!
Leo loves scratches around the neck and chin, but he will let you know when heโs had enough. He enjoys sun baking in windows and exploring around the house and will need a home willing to give him the time to settle and feel comfortable so his true, bossy, cheeky personality can shine through!
Leo is in care in Richmond
Medical notes
Leo goes to his new home desexed, microchipped, parasite treated current in vaccinations and having been professionally groomed.
