About Toffee DL2562
Hi, my name is Toffee and I'm approximately 12 months old. I want to be certain my next move is to my forever home, so please read my profile all the way through before applying.
I like to be with you; if you are outside, I will be right there with you, or maybe sun baking. If you are inside, then I want to be inside with you. I will let you know if someone is visiting by barking, also if there are people working on tools nearby.
I really enjoy going for walks, I bark at people and dogs that we come across on our walks and I can be a trip hazard but I'm getting better. I'm a little snuggler, I love affection from you; lots of head rubs and belly rubs. I am still mouthing, but that's not forever. Continue my training as I grow, and I'll be sure to try my best.
I enjoy playing with my squeaky and chew toys during the day, they are lots of fun. I enjoy a quiet life, but am not a big fan of going for drives in the car. I sleep all night either on your bed, or on my bed in your room. Either way, I do like cuddles on a morning, best way to start the day!
I don't like being left home alone, so it is essential that you're able to be at home with me and that you will have the time and patience to work on improving my separation anxiety. I'd enjoy having a little doggy friend, and haven't been tested with children or cats.

Adoption details
ADOPTION:
1. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com to contact our Adoption Team & we will send you an expression of interest form to return
2. Successful applicants will then have a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer, along with a volunteer home visit & fence check, before beginning a trial period with the dog to ensure a great match for all involved.
DFL dogs are vaccinated, micro chipped & desexed prior to adoption (or at 6 months as a condition of adoption).
FOSTER:
If a dog is listed as "Foster Carer Needed", they are looking for a temporary home in Perth metro while their vet work is completed and while they wait for their forever home. They may also be fostered with the view to adoption. Please email us for more information.

2. Foster care applicants will then have a volunteer home visit & fence check, and a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer/rescue representative, before commencing foster care.
