Hi there. I’m Ella. I’m a 12-month-old Kelpie cross girl.💕
I’m a playful, friendly and happy girl and I’m looking for my forever family. I’d best suit an active family that will include me in their everyday lives. I’m a super social girl and enjoy playing with other friendly dogs of all ages and sizes. I'm super sweet and play gently with the puppies here in care. I would really love a home with another friendly and social dog to keep me company. As I can be boisterous, I would be best in a home with older kids.
Since coming into foster care I’ve started my basic training. I’m food motivated & enjoy my training sessions. I’m a clever girl & learn quickly. I sit & wait for my food, and come when called...well, most of the time. I have also started my lead training and am getting used to walking with one. I go on bush walks with my foster family and foster siblings and love a swim in the dams and creeks.
I currently sleep both inside in a crate and outside in a kennel. I’m a good girl and sleep quietly through the night. I live with cats but I would prefer my home have none. I react to the bossy one who doesn't mind giving me a good swipe, but ignore the calm ones. I also live with chickens and generally ignore them in their pen, but I would definitely chase them if I was given the chance.
I’m searching for a family who understands the needs of working breeds and is prepared to provide ongoing training and socialisation.. A home that can provide me with both physical & mental stimulation to help me be the best girl I can be. If you think you can provide me with my perfect forever home my foster mum would love to hear from you.
Love & licks,
Ella. ❤🐾
