About Thorn
I am extremely affectionate and never leave my humans' side - I love attention and having cuddles.
Going for walks, visiting the beach and playing with squeaky toys are my favourite things (although, the squeaking doesn’t last for too long after I have played with them). I enjoy lounging of an evening after a big day of activity.
I will need to go to a home where my family are home more often than not. I'd be suited to someone who works from home, can take me to work with them or is retired. I don't cope very well being left alone for long periods.
My new family will need to be committed to working on my independence training to help reduce my anxiety.
I have made several canine friends whilst here at Lort Smith. I do not like when other canines are too pushy or in my face, so a calmer dog that knows how to appropriately engage in play would be just brilliant for me.
I suffer from atopic dermatitis, mainly on my paws and muzzle, this will require lifelong medication and management.
I will be a foster to adopt until I settle into my new home and my skin is at a manageable level.
If you are looking for a snuggly companion that will love you to death - then look no further. Contact the Adoption Hub!
