About Murphy DL2563
Murphy is a big but gentle boy who just loves to play, eat, and cuddle.
He is full of energy and gets his zoomies in the morning, but soon wears out. Once he’s had his exercise, he will just lie on the couch all day. He is not destructive and is toilet trained. He
likes being in cool places and in the shade.
Murphy is very affectionate and likes to hug you or put his head on your lap during quiet/down time. He can be scared easily with random things, particularly loud noises or sudden movements.
Murphy is progressing with his lead work, and will do well with more practice, as he can pull when excited to head out and when following a scent. He'll suit someone with the strength to walk a large dog, and the patience and commitment to continue his training.
He barks at dogs during the walk to let them know he is around. He is excitable at first, but once introduced, he loves to play with other dogs. He currently lives with another dog of similar size and enjoys playing and resting with them during the day.
Murphy is responsive to training and has already learnt sit, stay and paw. Although there is room for improvement on his recall. He is friendly with people, including kids, however is not suited to cats or birds. He would suit a family who would integrate him in their activities as he loves to be near you and be involved in your daily routine.
Murphy just wants all the love and the pets from his humans and he has so much love to give. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply!
