Parker is a very friendly boy, who gets on well with adults, children and other dogs. He didn't quite make it as a working dog, but has adjusted well to life in town and being in the house. He loves the beach and travels well in the car. He loves his walks and being out-and-about and, while his lead work still needs a bit of attention, he is obedient , with good recall. He got in to a bit of strife on the farm for paying too much attention to the poultry (not killing) but has shown no such
behaviour while in care. His limited interaction with a cat showed him wanting to go the other way, but caution would be advisable.
Parker is very loyal and attaches himself quickly to those who are looking after him. He does like to monopolise your attention, so is best suited to a single dog household, where he can get the attention and exercise that he will thrive on.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).

The adoption fee of $550 assists to cover the costs of desexing, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations and vet check. Parker also comes with a Haqihana harness.
