About Archie
Hey everyone, I'm Archie!!
I am such a big ol' chonky boi it is impossible to not fall head over heels in love with me.
I am a super active and playful boy who has a purr that could rival the noise of a jet engine!!
Coming in at almost 6 kgs I am a big boy who lovesss to play, and because of my size I don't know my strength and I play pretty hard. Because of this I would not be suited to a home with children or anyone a bit older who I may accidentally hurt with my playfulness.
I am such a lovely boy I just don't know my size of my strength so I am looking for a really special Adult home who will have patience, understanding and strong arms to pick me up with.
I am a super chill guy who is still very young and would love to enjoy and active life full of exploring and adventure. I would really benefit from an outdoor enclosure and lots of tall climbing towers that I can climb to the highest summit on!
I really am such a wonderful boy, but don't just take my word for it.
To help me find the best home possible BARC are taking applications of interest. Please send through your application via e-mail accompanied with a short bio into your background to barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au
Available for adoption via application only.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
