About Jessie Bear
*PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PRE-ADOPTION. JESSIE BEAR STILL HAS A FEW WEEKS REMAINING IN FOSTER CARE*
Hi, I’m Jessie Bear!
Are you looking for the bravest and most adventurous kitten in the world? Then you’ve found her! At the age of 5 weeks I found myself inside the engine of a truck where I hid whilst it drove 70km. Some nice men found me and took me into a vet clinic where I was then brought into foster care! Other than being covered in dirt, grime and oil, I was perfectly healthy! I received a bath almost instantly (much to my distaste) where the water was a murky brown. Gross!
I can be reserved and shy at times, I’m still learning how to fully trust humans. I love belly scratches and being cosy in my warm bed-those are the things that make me purr loudly! If you give me some time to adjust to my surroundings I will become confident and playful in no time! I love playing with other cats so I must be adopted into a home that already has a cat or a few. Occasionally I like to sleep on my foster mum’s lap and I think I’ll like to do it more as I get older and more confident.
I have huge, wide eyes that I use to catch bugs and flies! I love to play with all of my foster siblings but when I’m fed up I remove myself and have a nap. I love to cuddle with my foster siblings too!
I will suit a home with other cats. I haven’t been tried around children or dogs but because I can be a little shy, it’s best I go to a home without any.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
-submit your adoption application via our website for the cat or kitten of interest
-our admin team will then read through your application to determine if you would be a good match for the cat or kitten and vice versa
-if we believe you could be a good match, you will be contacted by the foster carer for a phone interview
-following the success of the phone interview, the foster carer will then invite you for a meet and greet with the cat or kitten
*please note, at this time due to overwhelming applications we will only be contacting those we would like to progress with*
