About Jill
This happy girl is Jill, a three year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. Let’s start with what Jill loves the most! She loves to go on long exciting walks anywhere, preferably fresh air open spaces.
When there are no distractions like other dogs or humans close by, she can be taken off her lead and will come back to her name or come along and walk with you. She will bark and say hello to other dogs, she gets very excited when she sees other dogs out walking. So dog off-leash parks are not for her.
Jill also loves to be home with her people, be inside and do her own thing. Once inside she is very relaxed and lays on her bed or has a cuddle with her people on the couch. But she also can keep herself busy once in the backyard for a day if we have to go out.
Jill does like to be indoors with her people but she's not a lap dog, she is an outdoors type and really enjoys time on walks or just exploring with her family.
We think Jill would be happier as an only dog. But that's open to discussion.
Cats don’t really bother Jill, but she definitely likes to play around and show gifts and toys to them! So a quiet cat in her family should be Ok.
Jill hasn’t met a lot of new people so she gets very excited when she first meets new people. But with a bit of reassurance she calms down and wants attention from them. She listens to commands and will be obedient once she has calmed her excitement. She also understands most hand gestures. Ongoing socialising and training is a must for Jill.
Jill doesn’t chew anything and never has so that’s a bonus too. She will make a loving companion for someone who will commit to her further education.
