About Lotte
Beautiful Lotte is an adventurous dog, with so much energy you'd never think that she's 42 dog years of age! Fetching balls and running in big open spaces at the speed of light are her kind of hobbies, so she's always up for an outing with the family. Whenever the car boot opens, she jumps in straight away - this means fun is on the cards for the day!
On the quiet side of life, Lotte enjoys a good cuddle and being nice and close to people - she's definitely a dog that loves human company. Having been around young children, she is great with smaller kids and even likes to ensure they are always safe and protected. When she's had enough of small people for the day, she simply gets up and walks away, ready to find a quiet spot to catch some zzzz's.
Lotte is very clever and had responded to training well from a young age. She will sit or drop on command and comes back when called (well, unless she is really sniffing something interesting).
Not having lived with other animals, Lotte does go on regular play dates with other dogs, however she is often more interested in her ball than the other canines around her.
Being an active girl, Lotte does require exercise daily - if she hasn't had her daily run she can be very hyperactive in the backyard.
Being a lover of humans, Lotte has a quirky kind of cry when you first leave the house as she would prefer you didn't leave her to go on a fun adventure. However, she does settle into routine quickly and once she knows you will be coming home to her, she settles. Not a barker, Lotte just likes to alert you when someone walks past or the postman comes to the door - so you can't hide any parcels deliveries from your significant other!
Lotte's adoptions is an adoption via the PetRescue Home2Home program.
