IF you or any family member are displaying any cold/flu- like symptoms, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog. If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.

Petalas has come a long way while in foster care. She is an extremely sweet girl who absolutely adores cuddles and attention from her humans. Coming from an environment where she has not had much experience with other dogs, she would be best suited to a home as an only dog. If you are after the type of dog who loves to run off-leash or at dog parks, Petalas is not the dog for you. She has been working hard on learning to ignore other dogs on walks and responding very well to the process. Petalas will need ongoing training around this preferably from an experienced and confident dog owner.

Petalas is super smart - She can sit, drop, wait in a spot, do a high five, walks well on lead and be sent to her bed on command. She absolutely loves training and playing with her favorite toys, but also enjoys just chilling on the floor and snooze when her humans are busy. She is house trained, loves being out in the garden but if the neighbourhood has other dogs present all the time, it would be ideal to leave her inside when left alone as she can get anxious if there is dogs walking by. She absolutely loves all humans including strangers and children, and although she has not been tested with other animals, we recommend a home without cats or pocket pets. Petalas has lots of love to give and needs an owner who can give her a great home she deserves.
