About Tucker
Tucker is a handsome 6 year old mixed breed pooch who has found himself in Wallys Doggie Rescue care.
Tucker is a really cuddly lovely boy who loves to snuggle up to his humans. If you stop patting Tucker he will ask for more with his paw 😂. Tucker has learnt to sit and stay and is happy to sleep in his own bed, but also doesn’t mind curling up on the couch.
Tucker was unfortunately never walked on a lead prior to coming into care so he finds the outside world a bit scary. Tucker is fine with other dogs but gets anxious when first meeting them. His foster mum is working hard to train him and build his confidence but he will need someone committed to ongoing training. He is quite happy to play in the backyard, so a large yard would be best. If taken for walks he will need a strong human to lead and correct him. He is not suited to be taken to coffee shops as this overwhelms him.
Tucker will need an experienced human to adopt him but in return he can’t wait to give you lots love. He would prefer to be an only dog as he loves all of the attention. Cats and pockets pets would not be suitable. Tucker is in foster care on the Northern Beaches, NSW.

* Rent or own your home? Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties outlining that dogs are allowed. Our dogs and pups will only be adopted to homes where they are allowed inside to be part of the family. Real Estate approvals must state that this is permitted.�
* Opportunities for socialization outside the home? Whilst some of our dogs are best in only dog homes, most of our dogs have been provided with lots of socialisation and will need this to be ongoing.
* Work commitments? How long will the dog be on their own? �
* Why do you think this breed will be suitable for you? Breed type experienced owners will generally be given priority.
* Will you allow this pooch to live both inside and outside as part of the family? �
* Yard check will be done to confirm you have a fully fenced secure yard and adequate shelter when the dog or pup is outdoors.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family. He/she will be desexed,1st and 2nd vaccination, microchiped, wormed and flea treated regularly and a health check done by our vet .
