Pumpkin

Pumpkin arrived at the RSPCA Animal Care Centre in Devonport as a stray. He was very skinny, carrying fleas and looked like he needed some TLC. He was microchipped, but his owner advised that she would have to surrender him as she was no longer able to take care of him.

In just one day, Pumpkin managed to gain 200g, which is a big deal for a cat that only weighs 2.7kg. Apart from his weight and flea burden, Pumpkin was in great health. With the assistance of Hills Science Diet he will be back to 100% in no time. Pumpkin has had a Dental scale and clean and has been given a clean bill of health.

Pumpkin is very confident and loving. He loves to greet people first thing of a morning and keep an eye on the days comings and goings. He has lived with another male cat for most of his life and is a great house buddy. We would recommend that Pumpkin live in a quiet home, as he has entered his retirement years.
