About Bluey
G'day I'm Bluey the 8 month Blue Heeler X boy looking for an Aussie block or farm to wander amongst the gumtrees and a group of cobbers to call my own. I'm probably a true country boy at heart but would consider city living in a large home with very active people.
Looking for a varied group of bonza friends to mingle with; a group with maybe some bigger wipper snappers who have grown up a bit and can handle an active pup to run around with and another 4 legged buddy to call a pal and show me the ropes.
I can be a little shy in new situations but recover quickly and fast become the life of the party. Don't let me get to rowdy though as no one wants to be that guy...You know, the one spinning around in a circle chasing their own tail, come to think of it that won't be a problem as I have a a stumpy little tail, although I'd still benefit from some more training and being shown how best to behave.
Although I may sound cocky I really think that I am a great all rounder and a dog so full of love wanting the same in return. I spend my days here at BARC playing with my new best friend Frisbee (check out BARCS Facebook page for some awesome pics of us two) and lavishing the animal attendants with doggy kisses and cuddles but would be so amazing to have a home to do these things in.
If you think I may be just the right mutt for you then please contact the people at BARC on 5441-2209 to arrange an appointment to meet and greet with me.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
